Pearl Stephens Elementary Media Center
The mission of the Pearl Stephens Elementary Media Center is to provide instruction, support, and resources so that MIGHTY WARRIOR students become life-long readers, creative thinkers, and information finders.
The collection at the media center of Pearl Stephens Elementary includes resources for both students and teachers. Students are encouraged to check out books for both informational and pleasure reading. All students at PSE are allowed to checkout two books. Classes visit the media center on a weekly basis and often participate in Information Literacy Lessons and STEAM activities. Students also can visit the media center during individual checkout times each morning and afternoon. The media specialist at PSE is Mrs. Brette Callaway, and she is always excited to welcome awesome READING WARRIORS!
